CLASS COST: $525

Our three (3) day Field Training Officer class is based on the industry standard San Jose Model. This class will fit with C.A.L.E.A. accreditation standards, providing you with the tools and knowledge to properly train a new officer. From ethics to leadership, our FTO class covers the topics needed to both train and evaluate a field trainee.

Our FTO class is taught by Phillip White of the San Jose Police Department. Phil has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. He is currently the administrative officer for the Field Training Unit. Phil has instructed hundreds of officers on how to properly take the role of FTO and ensure that trainees are adequately trained, mentored and evaluated.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

GSPCC has a 10-day cancellation policy. Any cancellations less than 10 days from the class start date will not be refunded. Because seating in our courses can be limited, we ask that all cancellations be made at least 10 days prior to the class start date.

We understand there may be exceptions due to unforeseen serious events. If your cancellation is due to a serious issue and is not within 10 days of the first day of the class, GSPCC staff will evaluate the circumstances and work with you on a refund.
