In today’s digital age, law enforcement officers are the subject of more public scrutiny than ever before.  This one day class will focus on how officers can avoid allowing emotions to dictate the decisions that they make. 

Throughout much of his career, Deputy Superintendent Michael Walsh – Cambridge, MA. Police (retired), focused on community problem solving techniques and accountability.  During this time, Deputy Walsh had the opportunity to work with organizations such as the Police Executive Research Forum as well as the Massachusetts state wide initiative on police racial profiling.  In this course, Deputy Walsh will share his perspective on conflict issues facing the criminal justice world.

The content of this course is applicable to police professionals of all ranks – managers, supervisors, and officers.  Attendees will be exposed to topics such as:
